Tim Rodabough's motivation to become a landscape designer grew from the love of nature and his God given artistic talent. He portrays this in his work. In the beginning of Tim's career in Dallas, Texas, he had numerous clients mention that he ought to start designing landscapes because of his expressed ability to design beneficial living spaces. Through many hours of research and tedious studying he did just that. The old saying goes, "THE CUSTOMERS ALWAYS RIGHT." Well, once again it proved to be true.

Tim Rodabough started his landscape career in 1988. During the next several years, he developed a prosperous landscape management and landscape installation company. Through the recommendations of his clients, he began designing landscapes in 1996. Tim stresses the importance of a well planned design. He was quoted saying, "YOU CANNOT BUILD A HOUSE WITHOUT A FOUNDATION." Tim has given his clients a total package of services. He designs it, builds it, and maintains it from start to finish. You will even see Tim in the trenches working side by side with his employees. Tim believes in getting the job done right the first time.

On September 11, 2001 (The day of tragic proportions) Tim began to reflect on life and the value of life. Where does God want me to be? Do I have quality of life in Dallas? Do I live in a community that promotes family values and is family oriented? The list continued. There were many things to be thankful for: My son Tanner, and I were healthy and the company was prospering. The days, months, and years that followed I prayed, listened and researched where I felt we needed to be.

On June 19, 2003 some doors began to close as others opened. On this day, the 10 year old Dallas based company, was successfully sold. Tim had been researching where he should move to put down roots for him and his son, Tanner. Tim's roots began in Aberdeen, MS. where he was born. Tim had numerous family living in Jackson.

A week after the Dallas based business was sold, Tim found a new home in Madison on Old Rice Road. He chose a home in Madison based on a community that values family, an excellent school system, and a move that brought them closer to family.

A new company is born: NATURE BY DESIGN . A company based on: Integrity, Top Notch Service, Reliability, and Cutting Edge Landscape Design / Installation. Each employee is trained on the proper use of equipment. Once the employee masters the operational use of equipment we take them a step further. We stress the importance of proper landscape installation and management procedures. They are tested on each phase of landscape installation and management based on The Landscape Industry Standards. This assures our clients that each employee is safety conscious and well trained to handle their landscape needs.
